PSEAH Officer – Prevention of Sexual Exploitation & Harassment

About the role

The International Organization for Migration (IOM) is seeking a professional to lead its Prevention of Sexual Exploitation, Abuse and Harassment (PSEAH) efforts in Pohnpei. Reporting to the Chief of Mission and working closely with regional and headquarters PSEAH units, the officer will ensure a victim‑centred approach to prevention and response.

Key responsibilities

• Support IOM’s country‑level PSEAH prevention and response activities.
• Provide technical oversight and management support for PSEAH initiatives.
• Coordinate with the Regional PSEAH Officer, global PSEAH Unit, and relevant thematic specialists.
• Participate actively in the inter‑agency PSEA Network in the Pacific.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Law, International Relations, Psychology, Social Sciences, Development Studies, Planning or a related field with at least two years of relevant professional experience.
• Alternatively, a university degree in the same fields with at least four years of relevant professional experience.
• University qualifications must be from institutions listed in the UNESCO World Higher Education Database.
